Moving beyond
anthropocentric imaginaries

In the visionary and prophetic operation, it is necessary for the enabler to make new scenarios visible by moving away from the anthropocentric dimension.
Giving man tools to rebuild his own reality, removing the rubble and laying new foundations. What to base them on? It is essential to start from mistakes, so as not to repeat them, as history always teaches us.
What lessons should we carry from one world to another? What should we avoid to allow new paradigms to bloom and shift balances of our life?
How to rearrange mankind in a new narrative
? To rekindle the dialogue on man, it is essential to start from a common point. Outline the evident Principles of our society. Become aware of their existence and the limits they have represented for our reality, in order to use them as a starting point, foundation and pillars for new visions.

  1. Busy
    vs active

Increasingly dense agendas. We are sucked into time. Being continuously engaged in activities does not necessarily mean being active. Being active can, on the other hand, coincide with practical nothingness, which instead accompanies a strong mental activity.

2. Non-autonomous desires

Very often what we desire is induced to us. Sales logic of the global market, increasingly subtle and perfected, launch, on a daily base, mission to corrupt our minds in the purchase of goods. And now, in the service society, where digitization is starting to reign, the boundary with what is purchased is less and less visible, more pervasive therefore less visible and manageable.

3. Geistig K.O.

The "autonomous intellectual existence" or Geistig, as E. Fromm defines it, has been knocked out. F. Campagna also theorizes the "Abstract general entity" to define, for example, how people has turned to be in the Technic's regime. But this did not only happen at the behest of some government or power from the top, but even for because of the lack of willingness of some to think. Deliberate renunciation of thinking as individuals by letting oneself be guided by a schizophrenic collectivity.

4. Collapsing capitalism

It is no longer a doubt. Just as the climate crisis is taking shape before our eyes, in the same way capitalism, in the form that has characterized it for all these years, have no longer meaning to exist. Right now is an economic and power system in a heavy crisis, which can only lead to the collapse of entire societies if not stopped.

5.
Mortal humanity

We got distracted, wrapped in all the comforts we surrounded ourselves with. We have forgotten that we literally come from trees, that our is biophilic nature. We are fundamentally connected with nature and we cannot consider ourselves apart from it. Plus in our arrogance, due to a century of breakthrough innovation, we have forgotten that we are mortal.

6. ϰατὰ μέτρον

It is necessary for man to find a measure and act and think accordingly (ϰατὰ μέτρον). We must think of ourselves as part of a system larger than ourselves that we will never be able to control, because it is dominated by paradoxes and principles that, even once explained, will never be able to reveal that unfathomable veil that is constituted by the ineffability of life.

The infinity of space, the boundless enormity of the galaxies. The infinitesimal instant characterized by human life in the history of our planet. Man must be put back in his place.
