In most cases, the vast majority of us ended up crafting products or services that were simply more salable or attractive in the mass markets. So that the practice of design, surely linked with the industrial environment, merely followed in its footsteps.
But serious problems are emerging worldwide and we have no time left.
Can we stop making just sexy stuff and instead exploit the full imaginative power derived from the typical eclecticism of designers?

Time is marked by the incessant cycle defined by the production derived from work and the consequent consumption. In this way we find ourselves subsuming the reality that is proposed to us. Is it possible to break this continuous chain?

Reality is chaos, it is not unitary, nor can it be harnessed. This is why we have built systems and tools to make our way through it. We have worked to the utmost of our rationality to define what surrounds us, so that we can distinguish its contours, predict its behavior and not be intimidated by it. Over time, logic has definitively prevailed over any other approach to reality, thus indelibly defining the framework of our world: the Technic.
